Thanks to everyone who tried out the preview of the Grail app at the National in Chicago 2026! I learned a lot from chatting with vendors, giving demos, and seeing what people were searching for on the floor. For example, I was so concerned about getting coverage of the big names (Shohei, Jordan) that I didn't expect that so many of the searches were more vintage or niche. I also learned how unexpectedly well the card identification worked in the live National environment. Most importantly, discussing the app with hobbyists and vendor booths reinforced the engagement from this community.

What's next? I archived this past National, put up a sandbox for continued tinkering, and hope to see you next year at the National 2027!
